Lorca's mayor, Francisco Jodar, and President of Union of Worker Cooperatives Murcia (UCOMUR), Juan Antonio Pedroza, this morning signed a collaboration agreement for the promotion of social economy, employment and development local in the town of Lorca.
To develop this goal, UCOMUR, undertakes to provide material resources, technical and human dependent on their organization, developing measures of information, advice and training to be aimed at improving the professional qualifications and business people opting for self-employment through entrepreneurial ventures.
UCOMUR also provide direct and individualized care, designed to enhance self-employment, especially women and advice and information aimed at the incorporation of who were interested as to the labor market, and self-employment.
At the same time this group is committed to conducting seminars, panel discussions, lectures and courses or training on the Social Economy in general, and the Cooperative Movement in particular, to show students those specific skills and necessary for the constitution, operation and organization of these businesses, thereby facilitating market entry for self-employment.
UCOMUR also offers participation in all training programs that this group intends to develop in the town of Lorca and the advice, information and development of European programs leading to employment promotion.
For its part the city of Lorca awareness campaigns designed to promote business initiatives in the municipality and made available to this organization and the necessary premises for the development of the planned activities, as well as support, encouragement and promotion of development strategies cooperatives in the municipality, within their availability.
All these activities are carried out in coordination with the Department of Employment and Local Development, as reported by the responsible for the area, Lali Ibarra.
