The young chess Lorca, Beatriz García Porlán has proclaimed Chess Champion of Spain in the category of sub-10.
The second place has taken another player of Lorca, Ana Picazo González.
Lorca The Chess Club has again achieved another success in the national chess by getting two of his chess players are in first and second in the Championship of Spain U-10.
The tournament has been played nine rounds in the town of Padrón Coruña from 28 June to 4 July, and it involved nearly 100 chess players from all over Spain.
Beatriz García Porlán was proclaimed winner in the female category after winning 7 points of 9 possible, and be tied for fourth overall in third place.
For its part Ana Picazo Gonzalez has been runner-up with 6 six points and in general has been placed in ninth position.
The men's champion chess player has been the Spaniard Manuel Carrancho Dosal with 8 points.
