Lorca's mayor, Francisco Jodar has this morning signed three cooperation agreements between the Municipal Council of Women of the Hall and many other groups in the amount of 22,100 euros, to combat violence against women and training.
As reported by the council of Women, Antonia Lopez, has signed an agreement with the Federation of Neighborhood Associations and District High Lorca Guadalentín worth 4,500 euros, which covers the cost of performing, in 2008, the project entitled Campaign Against Violence Against Women in the municipality.
In this line, has also signed an agreement with the Nueva Vida Women's Association of Lorca, amounting to 9.
000, thanks to which this group may develop Battered Women's Program that contains, among other things, training activities, a point of information and guidance, care and counseling service, Cultural and Media Workshop.
Finally, the mayor has subscribed an agreement with the Federation of Women's Organizations of Lorca to carry out, in 2008, the project entitled Training Courses for Women, whose budget, which will be borne entirely by the Municipal Council, amounts to € 8,600.
The courses to be taught are development of extracurricular activities, introduction to journalistic practices and Kitchen Assistant.
