Lorca's mayor, Francisco Jodar has this morning signed four agreements with many other groups in the amount of 129,248.65 euros to combat drug addiction in the municipality.
Specifically, the Youth Council will receive 9,010 euros Lorca Campaign for Prevention of Alcohol Abuse Among Young People, called "101 Reasons."
For its part, the Good Road Association will receive € 49,290.65 for Labour Integration Project for Drug Addicts: Occupational Workshops for the social inclusion of drug addicts.
The Association of Families of Mentally Ill of Lorca (ASOFEM) and the Association of Psychosocial Rehabilitation Murcia will be subsidized with 48,000 euros to develop labor insertion of drug abusers and psychiatric disorders associated with chronic mental illness, preferably in the municipality of Lorca.
And the Association of Parents Lorquin Drugs (NYPACOLD) will receive € 22,948 for the Program for Prevention, Rehabilitation and Reintegration on Drugs.
The councilman of Social Services City of Lorca, Lali Ibarra, stressed "the important work done by these groups to deal with current social problems such as drugs, in collaboration with government."
