Lorca's mayor, Francisco Jodar on Friday trumpeted the festivities in honor of St. Benedict of Nursia, held this weekend at the place "The Pool" of the council of The Wire.

Jódar made references to the history of this saint, who is also patron of Europe, as well as the improvements that the City is doing in this parish and the many activities that have developed during these three days.
