The Councillor for Education and Education of the City of Lorca, Jose Joaquin Peñarrubia, and the director of the Universidad del Mar, Eduardo Osuna, inaugurated this morning the International University courses offered this summer in Lorca.
Specifically, the Councillor for Education has been present at the opening in the Garden Ruano the course "The 2008 general elections.
Lessons and prospects for political communication and campaign management ", the first programming of the Universidad del Mar in the town for this year.
Peñarrubia stressed that "these courses are a bet over the City Council by a university Lorca and more educational opportunities."
The course, which will be conducted at between 21 and 25 next week, will feature outstanding speakers as Enrique Guerrero, Executive Advisor, Office of the Deputy Prime; Gabriel Elorriaga, a member of the Popular Party and former Minister of Education Pilar del Castillo.
This course aims to explore new strategies of political communication and campaign management, and forms part of the research project the effects of regional and general election campaigns in the decision to vote in Murcia, funded by the Seneca Foundation to provide the keys to the analysis of political communication.
The program of the Universidad del Mar in Lorca will be completed this summer with four other courses on subjects as varied as the early attention, aquaculture or farm land, which will run until 26 September.
