Jodar, who was accompanied at the ceremony by the Director General of People with Disabilities Autonomous Region, Marisol Morente, and the councilman of Social Policy, Lali Ibarra, said that "children who are treated in early intervention should treated as soon as possible to facilitate better development, and therefore, both the local and regional administration, have made an effort to Lorca that no child in need, have to keep waiting for treatment and stimulation. "
In particular, since early June, the Early Warning Centre Lorca is also opening in the evenings, for which staff has been strengthened through an agreement with Apandis, with rehabilitation, a stimulator and a speech pathologist.
Thus, it has eliminated the waiting list of 26 families in need of this service.
Ibarra said that "the facilities of this center were underused because the evenings were closed, well now we have ensured that children of 5 years, which have to be in school, do not have to miss class to keep going to downtown."
