Lorca's mayor, Francisco Jodar, and the president of Scout Group "Sun City", Miguel Navarro, signed this morning a partnership agreement by which this entity will receive a grant from the Municipal Institute of Youth in the amount of 18,540 euros.
The ceremony was also present the councilman of Youth, Joaquin Ruiz, who stressed that this group is the youth group associated with more Lorca.
With this agreement, the association is committed to maintaining the facilities it owns in the C / Juan de Toledo and Lions, which has a "Youth Information Point," through which will keep partners informed all actions from the IMJUVE are carried out; in addition to other programs in the Municipality of Lorca and its autonomous bodies (Municipal Council of Culture and Celebration, Women, etc. ...).
In this sense, the Scout Group will bear the expenses incurred by personnel in charge of reporting.
The agreement also provides for the timely transfer of the Board of workshops and multiple use of communal facilities to those groups that, upon request, we derive the Municipal Institute for Youth.
Moreover, this youth group organize, collaborate and participate actively in the various programs and activities organized or organize, or where to collaborate, the IMJUVE, with the tasks at the request of the request, including the "Student Lounge" Diverse Program, Flow Flow, dynamizes, Rally Photographic Qdamos, etc.
Activities open to the entire youth population of the municipality
On the other hand, the Scout Association "Sun City" of Lorca is committed to conducting a program of activities, including in it's own that has been done so far in the association for its members only, addressed to the entire youth population the town of Lorca.
These activities will be open every young person interested may participate, whether or not the Scout Group, while maintaining overall objective of the Group opening its activities to the rest of society, in addition to information campaigns on the work of this association and attracting new partners.
In the program main activities will be held an annual gathering of former members of the Scout Group "Sun City", a proposal from the various units and sections (Troop Christmas Dinner Jungle Red Arrow, ...) and the participation in events Patron of the Scout Movement, San Jorge, and Regional Song Festival organized by ASDE-EXPLORERS OF MURCIA, and outputs (hiking and camping), at least monthly, by division for the year 2008, a part of Summer Camp 1 to August 15, 2008 (addressed to its members, but open to those young people in the municipality of Lorca, who having completed the Monitor Leisure and Recreation in any of the recognized training schools in the municipality should make practices).
The Scout Group also expresses its commitment to hold weekly meetings every Saturday in particular the year 2008, for Cub Scouts (boys and girls aged 8 to 11), Scout (boys and girls 12 to 14), Scouting (youth 14 to 17 years) and Rovers (ages 17 to 21 years), with biweekly meetings of educational leaders of the Group (Safety Group).
This youth association with this grant will also host the Eurovision Song Local Scout in participating as invited other organizations, held the Kings Auto and delivery of gifts, as well as the representation of the play "SuperScout", to help collection campaign gifts made by the Red Cross Unit Clan Rover Scouting and, respectively.
And thanks to this collaboration municipal Scout volunteers participate in training courses, aimed at obtaining the corresponding titles Monitor and Director of Leisure.
There will also be the opening ceremony of the 2008-2009 Solar Round to be held in the last quarter of 2008.
On the other hand, given the large number of associated beneficiaries, 30% of the total economic of this agreement will go towards the running costs associated with maintaining the place, easing the monthly fees associated with entering the group.
The Scout Association "Sun City" promises to have the technical and human resources necessary for its proper execution, while Lorca City Council will provide technical support to the Scout Association "Sun City" for the optimal implementation of the provisions of the above.
