Lorca Mayor announces the release of 200 OPV and OPV through an agreement with Ucecon (29/07/2008)

The Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, along with Councilman Planning, Francisco Garcia and manager of the municipal Land and Housing Lorca (Suvilor), Diego Dominguez, have signed a collaboration agreement with the Regional Union of Entrepreneurs Construction (Ucecon) in order to encourage the promotion of housing in the municipality, thus expanding the supply of such housing to the citizens of Lorca.

This measure is included within the set of initiatives taken by the City Council to invigorate the local economy and in particular the housing sector, particularly hit by the crisis.

Jodar has detailed that "This agreement establishes a framework for collaboration between Ucecon Suvilor and in order to increase social housing developments in Lorca and thus meet the demand that currently have this type of housing.

Arises from the commitment and the willingness of both parties to work together to meet objectives of general interest.

This effort from Ucecon is undertaken in the promotion of social housing, will be supported by Suvilor, which will be responsible for managing and processing of provisional and final scores of homes, as well as grants and subsidies for future purchasers.

The allocation and sale of housing developed under this agreement shall also be carried out by this entity.

Suvilor also complement this activity with the management of public land tenders for the development of new subsidized housing developments.

Suvilor will, therefore, the link between Ucecon and citizens, putting the security of their experience and commitment to defend the general interests. "

This agreement, signed for a period of one year, will allow the market to at least 200 housing.

To date the firm has already raised firm by various promoters to manage more than 59 public housing under this agreement.

These homes are located in different parts of the town of Lorca and marketing will commence after obtaining the relevant provisional ratings.

The homes will be state (VPO) or limit order (VPL).

Currently the price of a VPO of 90 square meters, depending on the module system, is about € 120,000, including garage and storeroom.
