The mayor of Sports City of Lorca, Francisco Montiel this morning the pilgrimage on foot and mountain bike that will run from Sun City to Calasparra (Sanctuary of Hope), to mark the Jubilee Holy Year 2008.
The route is organized by the Lorca-Santiago and the GE of Lorca, in collaboration with the Club Senderista "The Carrasca" and the Municipal Institute of Sports and Games Lorca (IMJUDE), will be held on 11, 12 and October 13, having a 50-seat availability for the two modes in which they are committed, walking and mountain biking.
For the walking route, the route is divided into three stages, taking the first a tour of 28 kilometers (Lorca-Totana Zarzadilla) on Saturday April 11.
The second will have a length of 25 kilometers and will be held on Sunday 12 (Zarzadilla de Totana-Bullas) and the third and final scheduled for Monday, day 13 (Bullas-Calasparra), will be the longest with a total path 35 km.
As for the mountain bike ride, which will highlight a single stage of 100 kilometers, performing the same on Monday, October 11, leaving from the Plaza of Spain in Lorca, at 07:00 hours, having planned arrives at the sanctuary, about 17:00.
The return of the participants will be by bus, leaving the same from Calasparra at 20:00.
