15 people will benefit from a new activity developed by the Department of Social Affairs of the City of Lorca.
This is a training program for social integration called "How Prisma", framed within the category "Social Skills Level II" which was presented this morning by the Mayor, Francisco Jodar, the mayor of Social Affairs, Lali Ibarra and the Director General of Pensions, Assessment and Inclusion Programs IMAS, Juan Castaño.
The Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, explained that "this is a training program designed to promote social skills acquisition and employment of people at risk or social exclusion through the implementation of specific training activities and social skills preelabórales, to equip them with basic social skills they need to achieve their social participation and integration as well as their access to work wherever possible.
The objective of that course is to prevent exclusion, promoting personal advancement and facilitate social integration. "
The course will feature 200-hour this month from October to January 2009, Monday through Thursday from 4-8 pm at the Workshop School classrooms.
They may make the course a total of 15 people who are lagging behind in social skills.
Those conducting the program must have passed the training course in social skills in Level I.
This will be beneficiaries of the Provision of Minimum Insertion Income, people living unit women receiving regular aid Integration and Social Protection, including Social Integration Programs, the Department of Social Services or other programs for disadvantaged families at social risk, in situations of social risk, difficulties in social integration, not shared with family or people that can not be incorporated directly into vocational training.
The Social Affairs Edil, Lali Ibarra, has predicted that the total budget amounts to € 27,100, the amount subsidized by 75% by the Instituto Murciano Social Action, and the remaining 25% face from the Municipal Council of Social Services .

The subjects will be taught is a personal growth workshop that includes self-analysis, expression of feelings, recognize achievements and mistakes, respect and trust, conflict resolution, responsibility for the acts.
It also will develop a workshop to address development socialization attitudes and capacities for action, be responsible citizens, motivation for social participation, improving social relationships, information on resources and social services, the utility of social networks and the importance of partnership.
Similarly it will take to complete a professional skills workshop will deepen the basic habits at work, motivation for training and active job search, teamwork and achieving and maintaining employment.
The training aims to develop a workshop and employment for the analysis of issues as basic concepts, analysis and training resources and the labor market, job knowledge resources with the job search process.
It will also carry out a specific occupational training workshop.
