The Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar has this morning signed two agreements with individual institutions for the expansion on lands of 1.3 million square feet of industrial area industrial estate Saprelorca in the deputation of the turret, which serve to encourage the creation of new jobs in the city and strengthen the commitment of the City Council for economic diversification.
The mayor has signed an agreement to that effect with the company "Hacienda La Jarosa" for the specific modification of the General Plan that will serve to develop an area of land of 520,000 square meters for industrial use. "
This area includes developable land within the special unsectorised called SUZE garden.
It should be noted also that 15% of the total area of the sector is allocated to general systems to locate open spaces and facilities, so that the City will receive 144,100 m2, including green areas and equipment.
The transaction will revenue for the City of € 936,000, divided between € 234,000 to be delivered in the time of signing the agreement to produce the same amount at the time of the occurrence of the final approval of the Partial Plan for sector development and the rest, a total of 468,000 €, at the time initially approving the proposed development.
The second agreement was entered into with the Corporation for the Promotion and flooring equipment Lorca (Saprelorca) and is aimed at developing an area of industrial land in La Torrecilla, as part of 'Land Unsuitable for Urban Development (SIDU).
The action relates to an area of approximately 770,715 meters square, which assume Saprelorca financing the cost of infrastructure and external services required for the operation of the performance.
15% of the total area of the sector is allocated to open spaces and general systems, the City received 213,965 meters squared.
The Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar noted in this connection that "the City Council support all business initiatives that benefit Lorca, which are very important in difficult times like the current crisis."
The scope of both conventions is adjacent to Saprelorca industrial estate in the heart of the Mediterranean motorway, which could be considered part of the strategic areas that define the guidelines of the Industrial Land in the Region of Murcia, linked to model CAEDI of Lorca in the Spatial Plan of the Regional Industrial Land.
Due to its geographical location, well connected with the environment, is considered to be of great interest to the municipality the classification of land for industrial use, with the aim of expanding the supply of industrial land that exists in the area.
All this bearing in mind that the strong demand for land in the industrial core.
