Lorca City Council, following its policy of underground networks and cable services in our city, it will act on the streets Nuñez de Arce and Espin.

The novelty in this case lies in the formula used, namely the signing of a cooperation agreement, signed this morning by the Mayor of the city, Francisco Jodar, with Gas Natural, Telefónica and Aguas de Lorca, which are intended to implement the remodeling of two streets in a coordinated and distributed to the companies the cost of paving and surface treatment arrangement, amounting to 43,330 euros.

Jódar explained that "this government team intends that the works of underground networks of different services are performed causing the least harm to the neighbors, avoiding the continuous and successive surveys of streets and avoiding unnecessary costs for municipal coffers ".

In this regard following the coordination of interventions intended to carry out natural gas, telephone and Aguas de Lorca in these streets, "the fruit of that effort is formalized this agreement, which aims to be the first of many similar characteristics, it allows comprehensive performance improvement of a public road and services, minimizing the negative effects of these interventions and without entailing a loss for the municipal budget, especially at a time like the present where, despite being essential austerity, we can not investment to regenerate our road network, "he added.

The City of Lorca reached an agreement and coordination of activities both as economic and involvement with these companies, which in this way will run a series of works related to their activity in the above streets in concert.

Upon completion of these infrastructure works, which will make each of the companies involved in this Convention, according to technical criteria for the award, being the sole responsibility of all aspects of Employment Security, Social, Civil, ... will be undertaken the paving and final settlement of the streets, according to a draft drawn up by experts from the Urban Planning Department.
