Lorca's mayor, Francisco Jodar has this morning signed an agreement whereby the City of Lorca 36,900 euros to subsidize the Federation of Agricultural Cooperatives of Murcia (FECOAM), to carry out activities involving the "Technical Conference, Day Coexistence, technical visit to Expoaviga and Cooperative Store Project "during 2008 to perform in the town of Lorca, with a total budget of 41,000 euros.
This project includes a technical visit to the Fair Expoaviga, a talk for goats, held in September in the framework of the Week Pigs (SEPOR), a conference of cooperative coexistence, a technical seminar on reform CMO of fruit and vegetables and rural development and a draft cooperative store ALIA SAT.
"Once again this government team takes the side of farmers and cooperatives to create jobs in our town and energize our economy, despite the present crisis, as the Guadalentín Valley is one of the Counties with more social economy organizations, "added the mayor Lorca.
Jodar said that "the city of Lorca is aware of the importance of those actions that affect the welfare and training of farmers and ranchers, while FECOAM matches the importance of joining efforts to boost income growth land to serve, in turn, as an activator of the town's economy, generating jobs.
