The Joint Commission established at the time for processing and evaluation of aid to those affected by seismic movements that occurred in the provincial Lorca Zarcilla La Paca and Palm at the beginning of 2005 has held its last meeting this morning, after he became and issues to be settled in it.

As is known, the Commission has been chaired by the Government Delegate, Rafael González Tovar, and the Minister of Works, Housing and Transportation, José Ballesta, and she has also served on the Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar.

At the meeting this morning, were approved last six aid for rental housing, amounting to EUR 15,025.34 set.

These grants, awarded to those who had to leave their homes while they repaired, the total expenditure under this heading amounted 368,370.38 euros.

It is recalled that in previous meetings of the Commission (in total there have been 15) were also approved 402 grants for the repair and reconstruction of housing, for a total amount of 4,800,981 euros, amount to fifty percent funded by the Ministry Housing and the Autonomous Community.

These grants are separate from the 281 claims that the Insurance Compensation Consortium in La Paca and gave the 229 granted in Zarcilla Palm, for a total of 5,124,666 euros '31.

On the other hand, the Ministry of Interior at the time granted to the city of Lorca, to offset emergency spending that had to do because of the earthquake, aid for 468,020 euros '90.

Moreover, Hall said 24 projects were approved for repair or restoration of various municipal infrastructure (buildings, facilities, firm, sidewalks, etc..) For a total amount of 1,400,000 euros, to finance equally by the Autonomous Community and the Ministry of Public Administration (Directorate General of Local Government).

Therefore, all compensation and benefits granted as a result of earthquakes which occurred nearly four years in Zarcilla de Ramos and La Paca total amount of 12,262,038.59 euros.
