The Councillor for Education of the City of Lorca, Jose Joaquin Peñarrubia, has announced that the new institute of Lorca, the number 6 of the city, represents an investment of 5,509,650 euros and will house 22 classrooms for 690 students High School students, including other facilities.

Peñarrubia this morning the draft of the new education center will be built on a plot of 11,500 m2 located in the former headquarters of the former sports facilities Sancho Dávila, which will be located on Campus Universitario de Lorca.

Specifically, they will rise to 16 units to about 30 students of secondary school classrooms, and 6 classes to 35 students in high school, ie a total of 480 and 210 respectively.

The main building, ground floor and two floors, will have a floor area of 4,577 m2, also including reprographics, reception, cafeteria, general store, bathroom cleaning and trash.

For its part, the sports hall have a floor area of 564 m2.

Along with the sports facilities there is also a covered porch, a playground, a parking area, gardens and a small garden.
