The Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar has signed for the first time a collaboration agreement with the Regional Association of agricultural enterprises in the Autonomous Community of Murcia (ADEA-BDA), for which the Consistory lorquino support services and program activities with a contribution of 18,000 euros.
Jodar said "from the City Council have always opted for the agricultural and livestock sector as the engine of our economy diversified, and within this area and livestock farming organizations play an important role."
Among the highlights activities supported implement a communication plan agriculture, which aims to inform farmers of the municipality of Lorca on issues of agriculture, new regulations, environmental adaptation, and subsidies, training, administrative adjustments , etc.

Also be held on advice, information and processing of grants and subsidies (budget of 9,000 euros), as well as the training and employment for farmers, noting the courses for training in the use of pesticides, pruning, efficient water management , management of agricultural machinery, etc.
