The Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, and Councilman Works and Rural Policy of the City of Lorca, Angel Mecca, opened on Tuesday December 23 works completed in the old National 3211, crossing the Eagles Road, on the edge of the councils of El Campillo and Cazares.
This work, which had a budget close to 300,000, was funded entirely by the Directorate General of Highways of the region.
The actions are executed from the installation of lighting and sidewalks, to improve infrastructure such as stormwater collection pipes, paving, ... on a stretch of more than one kilometer.
The mayor noted that "this work not only benefits the residents of these two districts, is very positive for the residents of Puri and watering places that use this communication channel."
24 new lighting points
Francisco Jódar also opened on the same night ten new items of street lighting in the deputation of Almendricos and another 14 in the journey of Ceferino Sale, whose work has been executed within the Works and Services Plan for Districts and County Councils, with a budget of 42,000 euros, 90% provided by the Autonomous Region and 10% by the City.
The Mayor welcomed the continued collaboration of the Autonomous Region to improve our municipal.
