The Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, today announced a new investment of 450,000 euros for infrastructure in terms of safety.

We are talking about a new investment will allow us to build two new local police headquarters in the districts of Puri and Ramonete, whose construction includes an amount of 225,000 euros for each one. "
The economic pillar has been achieved thanks to an agreement signed this morning between the city of Lorca and the Ministry of the Presidency, through the Directorate General of Local Government, by which the Regional Government intended to our city a total of 400,000 euros , while the City Council allocated an amount of 50,000 euros.
That agreement has been signed in the Palacio de San Esteban between the Mayor, Francisco Jodar, and Minister of Presidency, Pedro María Reverte.
From City reported that two new local police barracks in addition to those already are being rehabilitated in the districts of La Hoya and almond trees, which have a municipal investment of 40,000 euros.
The mayor pointed out that in La Hoya is under way to old-school conditioning unit, while in Almendricos this center will be located in a town hall which was now obsolete, and that is located on Avenida de Aguilas.
In terms of infrastructure of public safety the city of Lorca also is completing the construction of the Emergency Base Zarcilla Palm, which will also host a local police barracks to supplement the network that is committed to building the current team government.
Regarding the construction of the Centro Integral Security of our municipality, which will be located in Sutullena deputation from the city council have anticipated that the tendering of works, if there are no noteworthy incidents, will be competition for the first quarter 2009.
