The Councillor for Education of the City of Lorca, José Joaquín Peñarrubia, has announced that the city council will proceed this year to the settlement of 17 schools in our municipality and the construction of the institute 6.
Peñarrubia anticipated that the financial amount that the City will allocate for these improvement works amounting to a total of 6,524,290.04.
Thanks to this investment will improve the schools Almendricos, Virgen de las Huertas, The Wire, Ramonet, La Parroquia, Zarzadilla of Totana, Coy, Councillor, San José, José Robles, San Fernando, Puri, Narciso Yepes, and Pérez de Hita.

Peñarrubia reported that these works have an investment of 183,600 euros and respond to the needs expressed by the educational community of the institute.
From the city council have detailed today are developing work in progress in schools and Pilar Ramos Zarcilla Soubrier.
In the first case, the covering of the sports and construction of new works that involve the investment of 243,000 euros.
In Soubrier Pilar is in the process of adaptation of toilets and the removal of architectural barriers, some works that include the investment of 30,000 euros.
