On Sunday 11 January, the Club Senderista de Lorca "La Carrasca" in collaboration with the Municipal Sports and Games (IMJUDE), resumed its activities after the Christmas break, with different actions for the next Sunday, January 11 occasion of the celebration of Arbor Day. "
The same will take place in surroundings of the farmhouse "La Solana", located in the Sierra de la Torrecilla, this being a protected natural area low cataloging the European Union Special Protection Area (SPA), taking the initiative In order to raise awareness of natural areas in the municipality of Lorca.
The day will begin with a short and easy hiking route for the environment "La Solana" to the shrine of PRADICAN, later to make the planting of various trees, mainly pines, ending the day with a meal where you can taste as a side dish main rice and rabbit.
