Note from UPyD:
To the request made by the Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, the Lorca's "great sacrifices" to overcome the difficult financial situation of the consistory, Upyd Lorca believes that the City of Lorca has to lead by example rather than the invoice Lorca citizens pay.
For this UPyD of Lorca will promote and send the mayor an austerity plan MUNICIPAL with a battery of measures in order to straighten the short-term municipal finance:
1.
Decrease in 2009 from 10% of salaries and allowances to perceive both the mayor and councilors-time bias, and the position of trust.
2. Elimination of all those positions of trust that duplicate the work of labor officials and staff, except for exceptional cases do not improve the readiness and accountability for current staff.
3.
20% reduction of budget allocations related to attendance at plenary sessions, commissions and tribunals.
4.
Total reduction of overtime and except for very exceptional cases of need.
5. Making Works, Minor Works, Writing Project by employees assigned to City Hall.
6. Developing a Savings Plan Energy Consumption with a reduction in domestic consumption and containment of public lighting.
7.
Reduction of advertising, publications and transfer paid propaganda and communications to a local magazine or newsletter that reaches all citizens as was done previously.
8.
Reducing wasteful spending and holding ornamental leisure activities and the elimination of the costs of representation and protocol.
In addition to Lorca UPyD municipal government requires PP to take measures to help overcome Lorca economic crisis and regain the confidence of economic agents:
1. Develop a Municipal Investment Plan for failing to stop the development of infrastructure.
2. Development of an Economic Recovery Plan with the social and economic resources to create or maintain employment.
3.
Maintaining and increasing the amounts allocated to social spending for aid to family economies.
4. Provide taxpayers Lorca the installment payment of municipal taxes such as property tax, stamp the car (IVTM), IAE
