The Councillor for Education and the City University of Lorca, José Joaquín Peñarrubia, and the director of the Social and Cultural IberCaja, Rafael Arnau, presented this morning the next steps of the development program of the performing arts among students in Primary and Secondary Education, jointly these two entities, in line started last year.
On this occasion the work will be performed will be "Midnight Dream", which the campaign will focus on the black theater aimed at children of primary school.
Peñarrubia explained that "so far have booked more than 1,500 children, a figure that makes us see the good response to this initiative."
The book "Midnight Dream" will be held in two sessions morning (10.00h and 12.00h) during days 4, 5 and 6 February in Santa Quiteria Fairgrounds.
The aim of the show is to bring the child into the world of the "black theater" means a representation that the actors displayed a dream world of objects that move with the naked eye alone, aided by the magic of black light.
In addition, Alderman has been advanced that "during the month of March, the Department of Education will collaborate with Ibercaja to give children a new children's theater activity."
Jose Joaquin Peñarrubia IberCaja thanked his constant collaboration with the City and more specifically to the promotion of culture and education among the smallest, with concert programs and educational theater.
