The Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar has chaired this morning the inauguration of five new strands of the local police, with which today reinforce controls of this municipal service.
Clemente Bayonas Bermúdez, José Juan Cantos Lario, Jacinto Hernández Hernández, Diego Asensio Peñas and Ginés López Porlan are the ends which will join the other 10 existing until now, three sergeants, one officer and his assistant chief, who coordinate the policing of entire municipality.
Francisco Jodar has He notes that "so far this term the staff of the local police has grown more than anywhere else, so it is necessary to increase the number of strands to further increase its effectiveness."
The Mayor has stated that "although public safety is the sole responsibility of Central Government as there are not enough police and Civil Guards, the City is making an enormous fiscal effort for citizens are protected."
