Murciano Health Service (SMS) has invested 219,430 euros in the acquisition of 11 medical devices for the Hospital Rafael Méndez de Lorca.
The center will have three devices and those who lacked until now: a dermoscopy, used to observe details in the skin lesions and study them to see if they are malignant, a universal monitor Traumatology compressed air, which allows for surgical trauma very specific, and a bipolar resectoscope for urology plasma, used for endoscopic interventions for bladder and prostate, among others.
The other equipment purchased to replace or complement other services provided at present.
In particular it has acquired angiographic used in ophthalmology to study the blood vessels of the retina, a surgical microscope for ophthalmology and otolaryngology interventions very specific small areas, a respirator for non-invasive mechanical ventilation, a volume ventilator for transport, an electronic blood pressure monitor designed to monitor blood pressure, a surgical instrument washer and automatic bedpan cleaning wedges for bedridden patients.
In this regard, the manager of Area III of Lorca, José Luis Albarracín, said "the acquisition of these eleven aircraft has been a very important milestone in the process of updating and modernizing the facility that will impact on speed, efficiency and increased quality of care provided to patients of Area III. "
