The Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, and the Director General of Volunteers of the autonomous region, Leopoldo Navarro, presented this morning a pioneering project in the Region of the largest volunteer Lorca to facilitate the transition to school safety steps pedestrians near schools, called "Back to School."
This program is sponsored by the Department of the Mayor of the City of Lorca, in the promotion of voluntary plan "Lorca X All, with the collaboration of the departments of Social Services and Security, whose responsibility, Mari Carmen Ruiz, Lali Ibarra and Belen Perez, also attended.
The action plan is that those over the municipality may wish to stay with a vest identifying the pedestrian crossings near schools, do not have particular importance and are told, in order to facilitate the entry and exit of children to school.
Those interested in participating in this initiative, with a grant from the Autonomous Community, is implemented and two Spanish municipalities may enroll in the Major Open Centre, where volunteers receive training and road safety, along with liability insurance.
Volunteers program, which now spans the score, in cooperation with the local police and will benefit from a trip to the course.
Jódar Francisco thanked the cooperation of the largest, with "Back to School initiated a volunteer program, which will expand to other areas.
