The local councilor responsible for social Municipality of Lorca, Maria del Carmen Ruiz Jodar has reported that the city council will proceed with the remodeling of the Civic Center Purias, whose work will involve an investment of € 172,871 provided in the Plan Municipal Investment, Pimun '09.
Ruiz has detailed that this improvement will directly benefit a total of 2,260 persons residing in this parish.
The council has stated that the remodeling of a new sample of the firm and resolute commitment of the government team for the voluntary movement of our municipality.
In fact the project to define the new center has been agreed with the neighbors in the meetings we have been maintaining since the city council with the various citizens' organizations.
They themselves have decided the distribution of rooms and the school as a whole.

Jódar Ruiz noted, in this connection that on the ground floor, with 163 m2 of total area, a wide bar is placed to serve all groups of Puri, a space that will be equipped with a store and an office for use by the group of elders.
Also on this floor is provided enabling wheelchair accessible toilets, next to a large multipurpose room convertible, which has a surface area of 50 m2.
The second top, which will feature more than 132 m2 in area, covers a wide multi-purpose hall, which will have an area of 50 m2.
The second floor includes also a multipurpose room used for a surface area of 70 m2.
The Councillor pointed out that the remodeling project and overall improvement of the civic center includes the installation of an elevator that will allow disabled people to access all units, which represents a significant modernization of this infrastructure that is adapted local to regulations on accessibility.
The works, which are already in the bidding process could be completed before the end of the year, so the neighbors would have a modern civic center, better and more functional than December this year.
The total floor area of this facility amounted to 320.32 m2.
