The Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, and aldermen Mari Carmen Ruiz, Angel Meca, Melchor Morales and Ibarra Eulalia, held a meeting yesterday afternoon with the residents of the village of Doña Inés to inform them about the various works that the Consistory Lorca will be made within the Municipal Investment Plan (PIMUN '09) in the northern council Lorca.
Among these works emphasizes the building of the Local Social Youth, an infrastructure in high demand by residents and by the end of the year will be a reality.
This space will be built next to the local Residents Association and have a surface area of 127 square feet on two floors, counting the ground floor with an airy room of more than 40 square meters and toilets, while the upper floor will house a multipurpose room of 35 square meters and an office of 18, but will be young people who decide Doña Inés definitely local distributions.
The budget of the work amounts to 132,000 euros.
On the other hand, residents also informed about the works of the pool of Doña Inés, involving the adaptation and improvement of this infrastructure as recreational space.
This action, which is already in the recruitment process, will cost 112,659 euros '29, and will meet a local demand that has been repeated for many years.
Finally, the neighbors were pleased with the performance of these works so important to their parish, while the mayors expressed their demands to be taken into account by the Municipal Government Team to improve infrastructure in this hamlet Lorca.
The Mayor, Francisco Jodar, called the meeting "very positive, because the neighbors have welcomed these important works will be so beneficial for Doña Inés."
At the same time, he said Jódar the importance of meetings like this, "since they are neighbors in the know of his parish and those who best can tell us where we need to influence."
