The City Council of Women of the Municipality of Lorca, Antonia Lopez, has reported that more than 320 Lorca will benefit from this new training offer provided by the Department of Women.
Moya Lopez said that this is a series of courses, mostly, will begin next March 16 and end on 13 July.
To access these will be three awards, the first of which includes 20 February to 5 March (currently open), the second goes from 23 to 31 March and from 13 to 24 April and there will be a third from 27 April to 8 May and 8 to 22 May will have a place of development of the council headquarters in Marble Street.
A total of 1,340 hours of training imparted, which are distributed from a course of 30 hours to several training courses for over 100 hours and times they will be both morning and afternoon.
The budget for the whole of the twenty-one training activities amounted to € 34,739.20.
The mayor of Women has indicated that during 2009 the Municipal Council of Women seeks to these courses, enhance the accumulation of resources and capacity building by women, so they can put into practice in the workplace , either because access for the first time to paid work because they have an interest in improving your current job or because they intend to start a business.
To carry out these objectives, we aim to encourage and promote training of women in Lorca, fulfilling their educational expectations, expressed through the demands of the users of the Rod Local Employment and working time in line with reality socioeconomic Lorca.
In line with these guidelines, we designed five areas of training which will pivot the training activities that are going to bring forward during the months of March to July 2009.
The work areas are as follows:
1) Area of Computer Science, from which we intend to further enhance the training of women in the field of new technologies as a means of access to employment or improve the current position, as we believe that it is a cross-discipline applicable to a large number of professions.
2) Health and Health Area, aimed to harness the development of Law Unit, and taking into account that one of the most popular career for women.
In fact we found that there is a large demand for jobs directly related to the care of dependents.
In this regard we will do a Rehabilitation Assistant course, which will enable women to provide support to other health professionals in their daily work of patient care.
We will also take a course in Health Documentation Assistant for women to acquire basic knowledge on how to organize health systems and services.
3) In Administrative Management Area we will carry out a course of receptionist, which aims to meet the expectations of women whose professional profile is designed to analyze and see how the front office in a company and acquire skills for trying to clients
4) Area of Care and Quality Service, which provides for the delivery of courses Customer Care, Health and Food Safety and Occupational Risk Prevention, which seeks to train women in cross-cutting themes applicable to different professional positions .
5) In the area of languages we will continue the development and learning of English, a necessary tool in order to present to assure varied job profiles.
Lopez Moya has detailed in full term, "the offer we put at the disposal of Lorca includes 20 training activities spread over 3 courses of introduction to computer, 2 computer training courses, computer courses in typing 2 (initial level) 3 introductory courses in Internet, Internet 2 advanced courses (level II), 1 English course, 1 course of rehabilitation assistant, 1 year of receptionist, a customer service course, 1 course of occupational risk prevention, 1 course in food safety and hygiene, 1 course of caregiver for dependent and 1 course in medical documentation assistant. "
