Although the XXV European Congress of Bonsai and Suiseki, based in Expoflora Lorca, continue all day Sunday, Saturday, day 7, is hosting the awards ceremony, trophies and awards at a gala dinner, driven, organized and funded by Congress themselves in the Hotel Jardines de Lorca, at 21 hours.

The said meeting will be chaired, as the guest of honor, by the Mayor of Lorca Francisco Jódar Alonso and European presidents of associations of Bonsai and Suiseki, Mr Reg Bolton, England, and Willy Benz, Belgium, respectively.

Will also mindful of the presidents of Spain and Murcia of these associations, Jose Luis Ramos and Juan Carlos Ferrán Traver Huertas.

About three hundred guests have confirmed their attendance, from various regions of Spain, Denmark, Italy, Portugal, Belgium, United Kingdom, Slovenia, Holland, Germany, Austria, Czechoslovakia and Japan.

All forecasts of participation in the XXV European Congress of Bonsai and Suiseki have been overwhelmed by the enormous demand for both Congress and thumbnail display.
