The Spokesman of the Government Team of the City of Lorca, Lali Ibarra, and Councilman Works, Angel Mecca, has announced this morning the progress made by the Governing Board for the implementation of 15 other cases of works of 240 that are included in the Municipal Investment Plan 2009 (PIMUN'09).

Specifically, it has commissioned the implementation of conservation works and maintenance on municipal paved roads and clearing margins on local paved roads, amounting to € 41,000, from the Local Investment Fund.

Has also been made to the final award of the contract of service relating to drafting of basic implementation and supervision of works for the construction of a residence for athletes and sports facilities in the County of Torrecilla, a work whose cost amounts to 69,600 €, VAT included.

Ibarra explained that, similarly, the local government has provisionally awarded PIMUN'09 works for the redevelopment and infrastructure improvements in Calle Almirante Aguilar, worth 84,154 euros, from the Local Investment Fund.

The other action is provisionally awarded the draft regulation on pedestrian traffic lights in front of public schools Zarzilla Palm Villaespesa and Crossing Streets of Rio Guadalentin and Ctra Granada, whose cost amounts to 82,370 Euros, that the City will face with grant fund.

In parallel, the Local Government has given green light to the files on the award of infrastructure improvement works in 14 streets of Uptown Lorca, among which are the streets Rodenas, Nieto, Piety, Morata, Crossing Street La Poza, Vereda San Pedro, weaving, Gallows, Street seamounts, Moncayo, Journey of Aurora, Aurora, Paraja and La Cava.

The sum of the seven projects that bring together these streets amounts to a total budget of 1,056,730 euros tender, of which 30% will be contributed by the city and 70% by ERDF.

Finally, the Board of Governors has approved the start of the records for the award of the refurbishment of roads Cabañil, win, Portijuelo, Cortijo and De Vera, all in the County of Almendricos amounting to 453,400 euros, are financed by the Autonomous Community and the city of Lorca.
