This past weekend we celebrated the 1 st path of the "Lorca Foot 2009", organized by the Municipal Sports and Games in collaboration with the Club Senderista of Lorca's Carrasca within the area of activities in the natural environment that IMJUDE.
has designed its program for 2009.
This route ran from Calnegre Mazarrón and tips.
The expedition Lorca composed of 90 people, went by bus at 14:30
Saturday's Sports Complex from Europe towards the Enchanted City Bolnuevo (Mazarrón), which initiated the first of two stages that comprised this route.
This stretch, simple and attractive, passed through places with beautiful unspoilt beaches, small cliffs and beautiful rock formations, a result of erosion that has had the wind and water on soft yellow sandstone rocks.
So, after crossing: the protected landscape of the Sierra de las Moreras the ore volcadero Parazuelos and the beach was reached Percheles Calnegre tips, where it spent the night in the municipal shelter.
Leg 2 was running from tips Calnegre and Cabo Cope on a total of 15 km, was developed in bright sunshine and summer temperatures, enjoying the trails of the coves and beaches along the coast Lorca (Cala de Puntas, Cala of the Ladies, Siscar Creek, Cala Honda, Cala Blanca, La Galera etc.) and the area of Eagles (Animal Pocico Beach, Rambla Elena, Playa Rafal, hat, etc..), followed by one of the few sections virgin coastline in the Mediterranean are of great environmental value and the beauty of its landscapes.
The arrival in Cabo Cope occurred about 13:00 hours and immediately made the return bus to Lorca.
The 2nd route is scheduled for next March 29 with a circuit through the hamlet of almonds (Sierra de Enmedio).
