The Councillor for Education of the City of Lorca, José Joaquín Peñarrubia, announced that the meeting of the Local Committee Against Truancy called by the Consistory this morning has agreed to the establishment of two technical committees to design concrete actions to prevent, detect and Primary and secondary intervention.

This was the main conclusion of the meeting today, which has served to bring together the views of all participants, including himself were Peñarrubia, the Councillor of Social Services, Lali Ibarra, and Security Belén Pérez.

Also in this table are represented all social, educational and government that in one way or another, are involved in this field of education.

Participants in the meeting include a representative of the National Police, Tomas Asensio, two directors of IES (Juan Ferrando Bravo Blanquer and Damian Barnes), two heads of state and state CEIP (Marquina Porlán and Dolores Miller Lora Villa Leon) representatives of the Department of Public Safety, Employment, Youth and Social Care, Family and Immigration, José Marcos García Guevara (FAMP), Manzanares Felia Service (OPE), teachers unions Enrique González López (CCOO), Antonio Martinez (STERM ), M ª Luisa Sánchez Montiel (FSIE), the technical heads of Social Services and Education and Jamet Kevin Martinez (student representative).
