The Councillor for Social Services, Family Care, Training and Employment Immigration Hall of Lorca, Lali Ibarra has reported that it has initiated a training course on multiculturalism and cultural resources.
Ibarra commented that "the course is aimed at both Spanish and foreigners, most users of social services is one of the main objectives of this course, providing expertise on cultural resources and job search.
The number of participants is 40 people and will be held throughout the month of March, Monday to Thursday in the afternoon, taking place at the Colegio Juan Gonzalez, S. Barrio
Cristobal, CP Perez de Hita del Barrio de la Viña and Colegio Nuestra Senora del Rosario de Ramonete. "
The mayor added that "this initiative is twofold first, workshops for parents, directed and led by an educator and on the other hand, work sessions with children, children of participants the previous section, assisted by two instructors of free time, to facilitate the participation of parents, offering parallel activities for their respective children "
This activity is contained within the framework of the cooperation agreement signed between the Autonomous Community of Murcia, through the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy and the town of Lorca, through the Municipal Council of Social Services for year 2008 developing activities for reception and integration of immigrants and educational support.
