The Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, as president of the Municipal Council of Social Services City Lorca, and the rector of the University of Murcia, José Cobacho, this morning signed a framework agreement, which establishes channels for the joint of advisory activities, research, training or any other type that will benefit both parties, especially in the field of training and skills development in the socio-educational.
The collaboration between the parties, which will be promoted at the request of either party, may consider the implementation or financing joint research projects in areas that are considered common interest, cooperation in developing outreach programs and social awareness relation to the social area, as well as the development of training courses about various aspects of the "Training and skills development in the social and educational, aimed at various social sectors (teachers, students, professionals, families and stakeholders).
Similarly, the agreement provides work experience students from the University of Murcia in Council programs and centers, in order to enhance their employability.
In addition, the two agencies agree to exchange information and documentation, peer counseling on issues related to the activities of both entities and any other activity within the scope of this Agreement, mutual benefit.
Francisco Jodar said the agreement is to increase collaboration between the two institutions already intense, which has resulted in actions such as the Campus lorquino or courses at the Universidad Internacional del Mar.
The rector, José Antonio Cobacho, meanwhile, said this collaboration is further evidence of the commitment of the University in this town. "
