The Security and Emergency Alderman of the City of Lorca, Belén Pérez, announced that the allocation of the Municipal Plan for Security and Emergency Lorca Easter 2009 will be increased by more than 50 troops over the last year, reaching 550 people to be mobilized to improve safety in the municipality.
Perez explained that the Municipal Plan come into force tomorrow, April 2 at 16:00 pm and ends on Monday April 13 at 9 am, "and with it will increase surveillance in the village before anticipation of large crowds of people, without reducing the presence of local police 24 hours a day in the parishes. "
The Councillor explained that this device will consist of 70 vehicles and personnel from the Local and National Police, the Municipal Emergency Service and other municipal services, as well as the Regional Fire Service, 061, private security, Red Cross, and, Urgent first Municipal Service Psychosocial Care (SUMS) of the Department of Social Services.
Belen Perez stressed that the troop surge this year is mainly due to significant increase in staffing of local police officers who made the Hall, and the launch of new service additions.
