40 people at risk of social exclusion are trained municipal scholarship on intercultural and cultural resources in urban districts (16/04/2009)

The Councillor for Social Policy of the Municipality of Lorca, Lali Ibarra, handed diplomas this morning the 40 participants attending courses Interculturalism and cultural resources made by the Consistory for a month in the deputation of Ramonete, the District of San Cristobal and La Viña.

Ibarra stated that "the council is making an effort of integration and social skills training, which are teaching opportunities we can offer these families to improve their social skills and their employability, as well as helping in the education of their children avoiding the neglect and truancy. "

Lali Ibarra explained that "we have also helped these families with a grant of 300 euros for them to attend this training activity and at the same time we have offered children's activities for their children."
