The Councillor of Tourism of the Municipality of Lorca, Francisco Montiel, and Manager of the Consortium "Lorca Taller del Tiempo", Mari Angeles Dormouse, have delivered this morning the three prizes of the First Open Air Painting, dedicated to 'Fortress the Sun, "Castillo de Lorca, organized by the" Lorca Taller del Tiempo ", to mark the anniversary of the V opening to the public as a heritage theme area Lorca Castle.
This initiative, which were 17 contestants, is new in town, and created with the aim of being able to translate an artistic form and free, the historical legacy, the most important architectural and archaeological heritage that the city of Lorca: the Castle .
Montiel explained that met the jury, composed for that purpose by people related to the Autonomous Community of Murcia, City Hall, CajaMurcia and self-management of Lorca Taller del Tiempo, have decided to award the following participants:
First prize, worth € 300, to: Juan Antonio Sánchez López, with the play "The Color Castle."
Second prize: 200 €, a: Guillén Angeles Ortiz, with the play "Julius and Alfonsina.
Third prize of 100 €, to: Juan Antonio Sánchez López, with the work "The Strength of the Sun."
As prerequisite to compete, which the works are anonymous (the names of the authors are in sealed envelopes) this year, the first and third prizes are borne by the same author, because each participant could submit up to two works (as bases for participation).
For its part, Mari Angeles Dormouse has announced that this contest will be repeated this year, thanks to the sponsorship of Cajamurcia.
