The Minister of Social Policy, Women and Migration, Joaquín Bascuñana, Lorca today signed an agreement with the City to finance the construction of a Day Care Center in the deputation of Puri, and separate agreements with associations and Asprodes Apandis to build a Multipurpose Center on the road to La Hoya and a nursing home also in Puri.
Day Care Center is funded through contributions from the community (120,000 euros), the central government's E Plan (700,000) and Lorca Hall, which will provide the land, valued at 30,000 euros, for a total of 850,000 euros .
Under the agreement, the City agrees to make available to the Community at least 75 percent of the seats so they can be arranged.
The project implementation period is 31 December this year.
As for the agreement with the Association of Parents of Children with mental disabilities in the Shire of Lorca (Apandis) to construct a Multipurpose Center on the road to La Hoya, the total cost of the project is 2,578,662 euros.
The financing is borne by the Community (600,000 euros), the Ministry of Health (1,500,000) and Apandis (478 662).
The new units will be dedicated to early intervention, occupational center and day care center, serving a total of 175 users 100, 50 and 25 users, respectively.
The Community may have at least 75 percent of the seats so they can be arranged.
Regarding the agreement with the Association for Promoting Poor (Asprodes) are funded another residence to expand resources for people in situations of dependency in the town of Lorca.
To this end, the City has given a plot of 96,401 meters square in the center to be built for 90 beds, an amount, EUR 4,413,112 will be funded by the Plan E (1,500,000), Community (300,000) and Asprodes (2613112).
Again the Association agrees to make available to the Community at least 75 percent of the seats.
