The Ministry of the Presidency and government intended this year a total amount of 3,550,000 euros to the municipality of Lorca to assist in the construction and improvement of various municipal infrastructure.
This amount is divided into three grants awarded to support the City in the construction of Comprehensive Security Center Lorca, the construction of two regional security centers in the districts of Puri and Ramonete, and the adaptation and improvement of municipal health care centers citizens in the districts of La Hoya, almond and Palm Zarcilla.
The director general of Local Government, Javier Iniesta, and the mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar these actions reported today in the municipality, from among those highlighted Integral Security Center, which will be located in the village, and has with an operating budget of 4.2 million euros, of which three million are provided by the Autonomous Community.
Iniesta recalled that the current units of the local police in Lorca "are insufficient given the size of the workforce and the services currently provided."
These facilities are also located the staff of Civil Protection.
Also, both makers visited the planned sites for the construction of territorial centers and Ramonete Purias Security, whose operating budget amounts to EUR 450,000, of which the Autonomous Community will contribute 400,000 euros.
These sites meet a local demand "expressly requested by the residents in these districts," said Iniesta, "so that both the place where the centers are located and new services will improve the care given to all its inhabitants are ".
Iniesta said that these works will begin next September.
Finally, to address the adequacy and improvement of municipal service centers in the city districts of the Hoya, Zarcilla Almendricos and Palm, which are budgeted at 155,712 euros, the Presidential and Public Administration has awarded a grant of 150,000 euros.
