The Councillor for Education of the City of Lorca, José Joaquín Peñarrubia, this morning the cycle of fifteen concerts for schoolchildren called "The Colors of Music", which is payable by the Group Instrumental Music Platform "during the months of May , June, October and December.
A total of 4,000 students from second and third cycle of primary education (from 8 to 12) of fifteen public and private schools of the municipality, may enjoy that interpretations of baroque music, classical twentieth century, cartoons and 'rock and roll 'in these proceedings that are in addition to the school concert series for which the council has organized with Cajamadrid IberCaja and, in addition to the actions organized by the council for secondary students and Bach.
The concerts of "The Colors of Music" will last 50 to 60 minutes.
First will be introduced to different instrumental families, and then the group will be playing instrumental, different musical pieces.
Peñarrubia noted that "it purports to represent the musical material to teach in a lighthearted and fun, prominence and active participation by students.
The activities in the center, represents a break from the daily routine, transforming the school in an auditorium or concert hall. "
Councillor highlighted the objectives of these actions "to motivate the students to perceive the musical phenomenon in a fun, activity involving them in their own schools.

José Joaquín Peñarrubia stressed that "is intended to create, as far as possible, a new audience, you can get a musical sensibility that allows them to attendance at concerts, discover the roots of music and appreciating the work and the composer interpret. "

The first educational concerts of this series, will reach about 800 students in years 3, 4, 5 and 6 of primary education, with the following:
