The Councillor for Employment and Local Development of the City of Lorca, Lali Ibarra, announced this morning that it intends to manage municipal area this year a Municipal Plan for Employment and Training with projects worth 5.9 million euros, after in the last month the Consistory has submitted applications for other government subsidies worth more than 3.6 million euros, which will add to already be started, valued at almost 2.3 million euros.
Lali Ibarra explained that the city of Lorca has asked the Regional Employment Service and Training funding to develop 20 training courses, free of charge, and for unemployed people.
Involve a total investment of 618,635 euros and will provide training to around 250 students.
The length of courses ranging from one to four months.
The courses belong to various professional fields such as Technical Assistant in Interior Design; Trainer occupational lifeguards; Technical office software, electric arc welder, and Operator Installer store solar energy, among others.

The Municipal Plan for Employment and Training also includes the implementation of the Trade School "Eliocroca" which will go to 45 unemployed people under 25 years.
The project duration is 24 months, of which the first 6 charged a scholarship for attendance and the remaining 18 months, receive 75% of the minimum wage.
To develop this project the City has applied for assistance, the Regional Employment Service and Training, of 1,206,984 euros, bringing the municipal coffers 75,000 euros.

In this case, the recipients of the project will be 32 unemployed people over 25 years, monthly charged 1.5 times the minimum wage.
This program, one year, has an amount of € 804,755.2, 704,755.2 those who have requested the Regional Employment Service and Training and the remaining € 100,000, are municipal contribution.
Another project presented by the Municipal Plan for Employment and Training will recruit, from September to April, 30 unemployed.
