The President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Lorca, Eusebio Abellán, the Director of the Institute of Development, D.
Juan Jose Bertran and the Director of Overseas Promotion Plan of the Region of Murcia, Elena Garcia, moved to UAE during the 22 and 27 May as part of a mission organized by Business and Institutional Development Institute Murcia Region within the framework of actions of the Trade Promotion Plan of the Region of Murcia to open new foreign markets where business relations firms in the region.
As a result of this action, there was the convenience of signing in the coming months a collaboration agreement between the Chamber of Commerce of Lorca and the Chamber of Commerce in Abu Dhabi as a means of promoting bilateral cooperation for the dynamic development of trade and economic relations between Abu Dhabi and the region of Murcia as a whole.
Abu Dhabi is the largest of the seven emirates that make up the United Arab Emirates, its capital is the city of the same name, which is also the UAE and its economy is based almost exclusively on oil production, exploiting its oil fields since 1959.
Annually produces 100 million tons of oil.
Under this agreement, both Houses shall regularly exchange information and publications and provide assistance to the respective visits of trade delegations, cooperating in the search for business contacts and participation in fairs, exhibitions and seminars.
