The Councillor for Education of the City of Lorca, José Joaquín Peñarrubia, has reported that up to 2880 students Lorca 5th and 6th grade of primary education and 4 of secondary education may apply until 30 June the bonolibro municipal 2009/2010, aid which began in 2007/2008 for the purchase of textbooks and school supplies for students who are not covered by the Regional Bonolibro region.
Peñarrubia explained that the City Council allocated € 250,000 for this grant which aims to make all the Lorca family can benefit from the aid to purchase textbooks for compulsory education, based on the principles of solidarity and sufficiency.
To ensure proper implementation of the aid and provide families with the purchase of books, without having to pre-disbursement of the amount, is achieved through the delivery of checks or check-called "Municipal Bond-Book" exchangeable in any bookstore or establishment of the town.
The grants may apply, as laid down the rules and regulations of the Call, in Lorca students registered and enrolled in schools supported with public funds based in the town of Lorca, in such courses.
For this is already open and the normal period until 18 September will launch a second phase call.
The amount of aid for students in grades 5 and Primary 6 is 90 € and for the 4 th of ESO to 100 €.
The distribution of municipal bonolibros be held at the facility during the month of July for those who avail themselves of the ordinary call and during the month of October for the extraordinary.
The expiration date of the voucher book will be the October 31, 2009.
José Joaquín Peñarrubia stressed that "this program is a bet over the Municipal Government Team for a quality education that focuses not only on the construction of new educational facilities and improving existing ones, but also in developing programs that promote equality and complement the education and development of students. "
Councillor of Education has stated that "the City made an effort so that in these times of crisis in our country, families do not have to reduce the investment they make in the media for the formation of their children."
