The IES Ramón Arcas Meca houses during the second fortnight of June the exhibition "The Secondary Education in Lorca" by the History Workshop in collaboration with the Municipal Institute of City Council Youth Lorca through its educational program " THE NEWTON PERA. "
The main reason for this proposal has been re-create the history of schooling in the municipality, since it tried to get them in the sixteenth century.
The exhibition includes a series of documents and photographs that reflect the past between the former building of the Royal College of the Immaculate, to other centers like Ibanez Martin Institute.
Between panels of photographs and many of the documents presented, has recreated what it was like an old class of a school in the years 50-60.
With its slate, wooden desks and well known to those students most mischievous, as were the dunce cap.
This work will be exhibited throughout the month of June at the entrance to the Institute Ramón Arcas Meca.
