Councillor for Environment, Melchor Morales, presented this morning to the 13 students of 1 º de Bachillerato del Sol City College of the third prize winners of the Caja Madrid on the occasion of World Environment Day.

Lorca students have received 20,000 euros prize and a trip to the mountains of Madrid through its project "You can do", which was divided into four blocks (waste, water, noise and energy).

Thanks to this initiative was an awareness campaign with the videos and the amount received will be invested in improving environmental infrastructure.

Morales has announced that the City develop a similar call at the local level for all schools in the municipality with the collaboration of the municipal LIMUSA.
