Objects relate to both material misrepresented as to products not complying with safety standards.
The material, which was destroyed in the CGR of Lorca, corresponds to the actions carried out during 2009.
The Edil of Health, Antonia Lopez, today reported the results of joint actions that have been developed in recent months in our municipality.
In this sense, from the city council have said that these interventions carried out in order to combat counterfeiting of objects and products and to enforce the protocols established for items that do not meet the legal guarantees and may involve a risk to the public.
Municipal sources have indicated that the material seized, which was destroyed this morning in the Waste Management Centre of Lorca, were on the black market reached a total price exceeding € 13,500.
This is a total of 1,856 products ranging from clothing to backpacks and sweets, perfumes and guns through music with built-in laser light.
The City Council has shown that such actions will be further developed around the town to ensure respect for the rights of consumers.
The objects have been subjected to arrests and seizures by different units of the local police and consumer inspection of City Hall.
