Jodar has stressed that this work, including the Municipal Investment Plan (PIMUN) has made an investment of 220,000 euros, of which 70% are from regional government funds and the remaining 30% of the municipal company Aguas de Lorca ".
Lorca Mayor stressed that "for the first time you use a biological denitrification process as the two lakes and a wetland, recreating the natural process, without energy consumption.

The main beneficiaries of this facility will be the 230 villagers in the Country Community Irrigation Alto de La Paca, to irrigate about 425 hectares, which until now had to mix the water purification achieved with a ratio of 2 to 1, low quality for irrigation.
