The Acting Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Montiel, and Councilman Young, Joaquin Ruiz, received this morning in the city lorquino to 22 18 to 26 years participating in the Labor Camp Coy, who started on 1 August the second phase of activities to boost socio-cultural life of the parishes high after the success of the first round of 21 young people who were until 31 July.
12 of the participants are from other European countries, namely Turkey, France, Serbia and Germany, and only 10 of the participants are Spanish, mainly from Seville, Granada, Zaragoza, Merida, Logroño, Madrid and Estella (Navarra).
For the second consecutive year, the summer of 2009, thanks to this international work camp is being conducted socio-cultural activities for people of Coy Lorca, in particular, and the provincial high in general.
Among the programming highlights activities for people Summer School for children in the high councils, Monday to Friday, where about 90 children participating from 4 to 12 years Activities sectors of the population (women, elderly, youth, etc.) computer courses, Internet access, generational activities, concerts, parades, workshops, customs, etc.
All these actions are part of Children's Entertainment Program of the City, known as "PIO".
Ruiz stressed that the program of activities for residents of Coy, which will continue until 16 August, this being a success, highlighting the involvement of many residents (children, youth and adults, both men and women) in all the activities planned .
The International Work Camp Coy is organized by the Institute of Youth in the Region of Murcia, with the collaboration of the Municipality of Lorca.
