Councilman Water, Environment and Livestock Hall of Lorca, Melchor Morales, presented the Second National Fair and the International Canine Lorca, a nonprofit exhibition to be held at the fairgrounds in Santa Quiteria on days 2, 3 and 4 of next October.
Morales stressed that "this is an exhibition that counts towards the national and international championship dog."
On Friday 2 to 17 hours will be held the opening of the exhibition with presentation of attractions in the park Terra Natura.
Later, he developed a fashion pet experts and judges from Russia, Poland and the Netherlands carried out surveys without pedigree dog breed.
On Saturday 3 will open the doors of the fair at 10 am and, in the same way as the previous day, the experts carried out examinations of race for dogs without pedigree.
Then, at 12 noon, will result in the dog show people where they can participate in all kinds of dogs (with and without pedigree).
On Sunday, day 4 will proceed to make the registration of participants and breed surveys for later judges begin to assess the results and finally at 16:30 pm to decide who is the winner in the final.
Having chosen the winner, the Pet Fair will close on Lorca 8 pm.
The mayor pointed out that "also in the auditorium will be making presentations useful for all those interested in the world of pet nutrition, training, and information on how to create police canine units for Local ".
He has also said that "the objective of this initiative is to promote the hobby in the world of the pet and the love of the dog world.
We must inform and raise awareness of abandonment and no more so summer seasons. "
Melchor Morales recalled that last year involved a total of 700 dogs and 12,000 people attended the fair, so this year the figure is expected to increase due to not only free admission but also the parking.
Regarding the fee, it is recalled that the young breed dogs have to pay a fee of 10 euros, while the adults breed dogs have to pay 15 euros. "
Morales has stressed that "National and International Dog Show and Pet Fair Lorca, is the second year is done and it should be noted that the exhibition booths of pet people from Alicante, Castilla la Mancha, Valencia among others, are trained by professionals regulated, ie breeders and stores that have the core number zoo.
The aim is thus to legalize the sale of animals and that 80% of the pet industry in the region of Murcia is illegal. "
This project, which made the direct sale of puppies, cats, reptiles, birds, and all kinds of pets have involved the city of Lorca, CajaMurcia Foundation, Lorca Taller time, the International Canine Federation, the Federation of Spanish cynological Canine Association and the autonomous community of Murcia to inform people and raise awareness of the importance of legalizing the sale of animals in our town.
